Havelock North Streams

Planting Handbook

Developed a simple planting guide to assist landowners adjacent to the Twyford Stream catchment how to make improvements to the water channels. 

Whakapapa Wastewater Plant
  • Partners: Department of Conservation, Traverse

Assisted the Department of Conservation in designing and consenting a replacement wastewater treatment plant within the Tongariro National Park (a World Heritage Area). 

Ōmarunui Landfill
  • Partners: Hastings District Council

To assist with the consenting for a new operational area within the designated Ōmarunui Landfill, we began visioning an end of life plan for a productive totara forest within a future recreational park.

The design of a small pedestrian laneway between the iconic Hawke's Bay Opera House and the historical Municipal Building.

Waitangi Ātea a Rangi
  • Partners: Hawke's Bay Regional Council, Ātea a Rangi Trust, Boffa Miskell

This project rescued a gravel pit which housed fly-tipping and burnt-out cars, creating one of the most iconic cultural educational sites in Aotearoa New Zealand.
